According to World Atlas, the 12 countries of South America are Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
There are also some 4 dependencies which are considered to be part of South America: Bouvet Island, Falkland Islands, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, and French Guiana.
Although South America has a significant population of Christians, historically predominantly Roman Catholics, and despite the growing evangelical movement, there are still many who have not heard.

Among other positions in places like Paraguay, Brazil, and Peru, their opportunities in Ecuador include those for teachers, medical professionals, and agriculturalists.

They offer internships which last less than a year, as well as long-term placements – WIM seeks to guide, equip, and support you as you explore your calling.
ACTION
“Action International Ministries (ACTION) is a global mission agency committed to sending multinational missionaries who treasure Jesus Christ and minister His Gospel in word and deed, primarily to the poor.”
They have been ministering since 1974 and have “grown into an evangelical, interdenominational missionary-sending organization with workers in 30 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
They have a range of placements available in Brazil, including Building and Maintenance Workers, Urban Missionaries, Discipleship Instructor and Children at Risk Workers.
Global Grace
