According to World Atlas, the 12 countries of South America are Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

There are also some 4 dependencies which are considered to be part of South America: Bouvet Island, Falkland Islands, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, and French Guiana.

Although South America has a significant population of Christians, historically predominantly Roman Catholics, and despite the growing evangelical movement, there are still many who have not heard.

Among other positions in places like Paraguay, Brazil, and Peru, their opportunities in Ecuador include those for teachers, medical professionals, and agriculturalists.
